Dr. Joseph Blondeau is a clinical microbiologist and Head of Clinical
Microbiology at Royal University Hospital and the Saskatoon Health Region
in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan, Canada. Dr. Blondeau is also an Adjunct Professor
of Microbiology and Immunology and a Clinical Associate Professor of Pathology
at the University of Saskatchewan. He lectures to undergraduate, graduate,
medical, dental, nursing and pharmacy students and to medical laboratory
technologist students in areas pertaining to clinical microbiology and
infectious diseases, antimicrobial agents and antimicrobial chemotherapy
and pharmacology. Dr. Blondeau has developed an active and externally
supported research programme on antimicrobial agents and antimicrobial
resistance. Dr. Blondeau has published in excess of 125 peer review publications
in many different journals, and has over 175 abstracts of his research
findings at various international meetings. He has given over 470 invited
presentations worldwide. Dr. Blondeau is a reviewer for many prestigious
journals and currently sits on the editorial boards of several international
journals. He is the section editor for anti-infectives for the journal
Expert Opinion on Investigational Drugs. |
