Infection: Staphylococcal infections and Leishmaniosis

Otology: Anatomy and physiology of the ear
Skin biology: Keratinocyte adhesion molecule and pemphigus


Scientific sessions
Approximately 64 Free Communications and 70 Poster presentations with the latest research studies.

CE Comprehensive
18 hours of continuing education for the general practitioner on a broad range of common skin diseases with an emphasis on practical information on diagnosis and treatment. All lectures will have simultaneous translation from English into Japanese, Mandarin and Korean.

CE Advanced
18 hours of continuing education for the practitioner with a special interest in dermatology and for specialist dermatologists. Presentations focus on aspects of skin disease where significant advances have been made recently and controversial issues in dermatology.

Equine Programme
Two full days (Thursday and Friday) of equine dermatology that include keynote addresses, presentation of research findings as well as 9 continuing education lectures on common skin conditions of the horse.

Feline Focus

A full day (Saturday) of presentations focused solely on skin diseases of the cat

Workshops
15 Interactive group sessions that will include mini-presentations designed to promote discussion and the exchange of the latest ideas.

Otoscopy wetlabs

2 half-day wetlabs for practitioners to improve their skills of examination of the external and middle ear, as well as practicing diagnostic and cleaning protocols for ear disease.

Cytology wetlabs
2 half-day wetlabs for practitioners to become familiar with interpretation of all the common findings on cytology as well as more unusual observations, using Olympus microscopes

Histopathology wetlabs
2 half-day wetlabs using Olympus microscopes. One wetlab is for general practitioners and will focus on entry level interpretation of skin biopsies and histopathology, whereas the 2nd advanced wetlab is designed to challenge dermatologists and pathologists alike.

Equine Diagnostics wetlab
A half-day wetlab at the Hong Kong Jockey Club providing comprehensive discussion and opportunity to practice all of the common important diagnostic procedures used in clinical dermatology

Pre-congress Company Symposia
Royal Canin, Bayer Animal Health and Hill¡¦s Pet Nutrition will each be hosting exciting half-day symposia with international speakers on the Wednesday before the main programme starts.

ISVD pre-congress symposium

A full day programme with keynote lectures, research abstracts, continuing education and histopathology slides encompassing the latest developments in dermatohistopathology.

Dermatology Residents Programme

A full day of presentations for dermatology residents covers topics of importance for board certifying examinations.
