Day 1 Hong Kong - Hanoi (Meal: Dinner)
Depart Hong Kong for the capital of Vietnam, Hanoi, by flight
in the afternoon. Transfer to the hotel upon arrival. Spend
the rest of the day at leisure.
Day 2 Hanoi ”V Halong Bay (Meal: Breakfast/Lunch/Dinner) Ba Dinh Square, located in the city centre,
is the place where President Ho Chi Minh made the Declaration
of Independence of the Democratic Republic of Vietnam. Visit
Ho Chi Minh”¦s Residence Historical Museum.
One Pillar Pagoda is an architecturally unique
example of Vietnam's pagodas. The Presidential Palace
is features French colonial architecture, and was built between
1900 and 1906 to house the French Governor-General of Indochina.
This striking yellow palace is currently used for hosting
government meetings. Hoan Kiem Lake, a small
lake between the Old Quarter and the French Quarter is central
to Hanoian folklore. A shrine, the Turtle Pagoda,
stands on an islet at its centre paying homage to a golden
turtle. Ngoc Son Temple (Jade Mountain Temple)
sits on a small island on the north end of the lake. The temple
honours both scholars and military heroes.

Day 3 Halong Bay ”V Hanoi (Meal: Breakfast/Lunch/Dinner)
Enjoy an excursion in Halong Bay, a World
Heritage site recognized by UNESCO in 1994. The bay features
thousands of limestone karsts and isles in various sizes and
shapes. Enjoy a delicious lunch of fresh seasonal produce
on board. Visit some magical grottoes and relax in the most
beautiful scenic beauty of Vietnam. Thien Cung Grotto
is situated on the south-west side of the bay. You will be
astonished at its splendid beauty, which is naturally formed
from stalactites. Hang Dau Go (Wooden Stakes
Cave) is probably the most famous of all grottoes with spectacular
stalagmites and stalactites in Halong Bay.
Back to Hanoi to visit the St. Joseph”¦s Cathedral,
which anchors one of Hanoi”¦s most tourist oriented streets,
and offers a glimpse into a bygone era. The Hanoi
Opera House built by a French colonist is considered
to be typical of French colonial architectural monuments in
Vietnam. The Temple of Literature, dedicated
to Confucius, was founded in 1070. In 1076, Vietnam”¦s first
university was established here to educate Vietnam”¦s administrative
and warrior class. West Lake is the largest
lake in Hanoi, and in ancient times, this used to be a famous
resort reserved for kings and mandarins. Situated on an island
in the West Lake is the Tran Quoc Pagoda,
the oldest pagoda of Vietnam built in 541. The Old Quarter
has a history that spans 2,000 years and represents the eternal
soul of the city. It is one of the best shopping areas in
Hanoi.
Day 4 Hanoi - Hong Kong (Meals: Breakfast)
After breakfast, transfer to the airport for flight back to
Hong Kong to end this trip.
